This page explains what happens to your data when you browse podokom.com or contact the clinic through the links on the site.
Data controller
The data controller is the PODOKOM podiatry clinic, ul. Karola Lewakowskiego 4, Rzeszów. For anything about your personal data, message us on WhatsApp.
What the site itself collects
podokom.com has no forms and no user accounts, so the site never asks for your name, phone number or email. We only get that kind of data when you message us or book a visit.
We use two tools for visitor statistics:
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) records information about your visit: which pages you view, where you came from, and what device and browser you use. It stores cookies in your browser.
- Umami is a counter running on our own server. It does not use cookies. It counts page views and clicks on the Booksy booking and WhatsApp buttons, without names, phone numbers or message content.
The statistics show us which articles and services patients are interested in and what to improve on the site.
The home page and the Contact page include a Google map. When it loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google may set its own cookies.
Booking and messages
You book visits through Booksy, either in the booking window on the home page or via the link to our profile. Booksy processes your booking data under its own privacy policy. We see the booking in the clinic calendar and use it to see you at the agreed time.
You can also message us on WhatsApp, Telegram or Instagram. We then see your number or account name and the message itself, and use them only to reply and arrange a visit. Messages pass through the messengers' servers (WhatsApp and Instagram belong to Meta), which have their own privacy rules.
The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR: steps taken at your request before arranging and providing the service.
How long we keep data
We keep messages and booking data for as long as we need them to arrange and carry out your visit, or until you ask us to delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Google Analytics cookies stay in your browser for up to 2 years unless you delete them sooner.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data or pass it on to anyone for advertising. Only the providers described above have access to it: Google (analytics and the map), Booksy (booking), Meta and Telegram (messengers), and the company whose server hosts the site. Some of them also process data outside the European Economic Area, on terms permitted by the GDPR.
Your rights and deleting your data
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, transfer it, and object to its processing. To use these rights or have your data deleted, message us on WhatsApp. You can delete your Booksy account in the Booksy app.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).
Cookies
Our own code does not set cookies. Google Analytics and the Google map do, and on the home page the Booksy booking window may too. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though the map and the booking window may not show up.
